WELCOME TO SWORDPUNK

The UK’s original small festival where you can get up close and personal with sharp and dangerous objects and learn new skills. Including how to play safely with fire!

ABOUT SWORDPUNK

Do you dream of adventure? Of swashbuckling daring do and warm camaraderie supping mead by a crackling fire?

Have you ever wondered just how heavy a great sword actually is? Do you want to know more about historical fighting than “stick ‘em with the pointy end”? Perhaps you’re a tinkerer who’d like to get a taste for smithing or some other traditional craft? Or are you a repressed bard who’d like to expand their repertoire with some new circus skills or dance moves?

Swordpunk could be the answer you’ve been looking for.

FRIENDLY ATMOSPHERE

Warm and friendly instructors will be happy to walk you through the basics during the daily sessions. The fun doesn’t stop when the sun goes down either. Spend your evenings chatting to old friends and new. Themed dress for the occasion is highly encouraged but not mandatory feel free to mingle amongst the vikings, medieval wanderers and troubadours in your hoodie. Although, if you do find yourself coming back (and most do), I would expect your wardrobe to grow. If only from the excellent merch available from the Swordpunk stores!

Swordpunk 2027: Myths, Folklore and Legends

27–31 May 2027

This May, Swordpunk steps into a world shaped by old stories.

Myths passed down through generations. Folklore whispered around fires. Heroes, monsters, tricksters and legends whose names have survived the centuries.

Across five unforgettable days, these stories will inspire the battles we fight, the characters we create and the adventures we share. Whether you arrive as a warrior from legend, a creature from local folklore or simply as yourself, there will be a place for you in the story.

The theme is set.

Myths, Folklore and Legends is coming to Swordpunk in May 2027.

Ticket information will be revealed soon.
